In 4 years I have never missed a day to post. Be it rain, sun, illness or good health. Yet it happened.
Over the weekend I entered a gaming tournament after a while and even placed 2nd as opposed to winning it. My mind became doubtful, worried. The self talk from only a few days can undo years of work.
It is corrosive and left unchecked damaging to all good habits.
So how does one counter this?
Acknowledge it.
It has happened. It exists.
Triage
What is the route cause. Is it possible to pre empt.
Document
After finding a solution, write it down to remember.
Work
Get back to it.
There is no shortcut to improving ones reaction to when things do not go well, it is through constantly changing and adapting that we can attain something we can be proud of.
Now get back on that damn horse.
