Lessons Learned From Guts

It is always a painful time when someone close to you passes, be it human or not that is raw connection.

This is what I learned from my dog, Guts.

Singular focus towards something. It was ridiculous how much when he wanted to get something done, his intent was known and felt.

Goofing off at all possible times. He never took himself seriously. He was 45kg but pranced and moved around like a puppy of 5–10kg.

Always playful at dire times. Even on his deathbed and the day leading up to it even though the people around him were sad he always had his own perspective of life.

Strong but silent. He was a giant amongst his kind but never once attacked on his own volition anyone without intense provocation.

Lastly, loving to all. No matter how long he knew a person, how short their interaction he treated them all with the kind of admiration and unconditional love of dreams. He loved humanity.

It is a life changing event to lose someone but it is imperative that we also look back at what they have taught us so they in turn live through us, forever.

Rest in peace my son.

Be Super
