Living The Dream

Scrum master way.

Empiricism. Knowledge being derived from experiences. To find out out not to follow. To test. To experiment. To come to conclusions.

Can one claim to teach these values and bring them out in others if you yourself do not live them?

A thought.

This is not here to attack or convert anyone’s way of thinking. That is your choice and yours alone. As coaches of our own lives and impressions we place upon others, this is here to offer perspectives we might not know.

Transparency

You have to be honest with what is going on. Lying about what you see, what you feel is only detrimental for yourself. Taking what happens for what it is. Clear as day for everyone to see.

Inspect

If you are not consistently checking up on the progress of what you are doing. How far away you are from a goal? What mistakes have you made, what successes. You will grind yourself to the ground.

Adapt

If you are doing all the above and not changing, augmenting, rethinking, reshaping, fine tuning…how are you learning? What have you moulded? What have your experiences taught you? You’ve done all the hard work and can not be seen.

Living in one of these is good. Doing all three is great, embodying the mindset is life changing.

Our lives are complex. Sure there are easy answers to some things but the ones that hold real value for us require critical thought, honesty and the compassion in self to make mistakes and improve on them.

Be Super
