Mental Clarity
My time in Japan has granted me many things but has also robbed me of focus, conviction and mental assurance. I have become lazy, weak willed and devoid of energy.
This is ok.
The mental picture I had of a wall. Broken. Fragmented. How do I build it back?
You don’t.
I can’t.
Yes, I can not. You can not chase what was or what can be. We move forward with who we are today and take the positive aspects and examine closely what still irks us. What still confuses us.
- Mental check ins (daily) with more meditation and mindfulness
- More deep-breathing (hourly)
- Tons more water
Small steps for me but this is for those who also feel like they are not at their best.
It will be your time. Do not be harsh on yourself. Life is but a series of moments and this too shall pass.
